Boris Nykorev was a promising Lieutenant in the Russian Spetsgruppa "A" during his early service before joining the Ghosts. Boris was an explosives expert and also a adept marksman. He was deployed to react to the Beslan school siege, where he participated in the incident as part of the strike team that stormed the building. Conflicting reports indicated that he also fired one of the RPO-A Shmel thermobaric rockets into the structure, though other documents clear him of this action. No matter which role he took in the siege, he was lightly wounded during the attack. Though his injuries were light, the gruesome incident traumatized him and made him unfit for duty, but years after, he recovered and was able to take up arms again for the Ghost cause.
